Ninja meets the Samurai

Meeting pagi la harini. Ni yang saya lemah. Bukan malas apa, ni musim sejuk... Tu yang malas tuuu... Teringat pulak masa study dulu-dulu... Waktu sekolah rendah malas betul nak pakai long johns untuk tunggu bas. Bila masuk buat degree, memang kelas petang tapi pagi2 kena keluar kerja kat komputer lab universiti pagi-pagi. Memang malas betul la mengharung kesejukan yang teramat sangat. Time undergrad pi kerja and classes naik kereta... Almaklumlah, negeri mat soleh kereta cabok murah tak ingat. Jadi kira okaylah. Kat Hamamatsu ni pi lab naik basikal. Tu yang malas tuuu... Takkan nak angkut heater sekali naik basikal kot...

Ninja Hamamatsu...

Adalah jejaka berbangsa Melayu!!!

Sejuk2 naik basikal kat Hamamatsu ni saya pakai ala ninja... Mesti pekup muka cukup2 kalau tak kena sambar dengan sejuk...

Meeting sat lagi ingat nak tunjuk result yang saya bertungkus lumus buat minggu lepas. Sure kena 'bang' punya tapi kalau tak kena bang camana nak tau kesahihan data tuuu... Bukan bang buta-buta semata-mata. Biasalah the big boss mesti ada bigger boss...

LEPAS MEETING

Hujan pagi ni. Tak sejuk sangat. Meeting cun... Kerja melambak lepas meeting...

sebelum meeting layan hujan...

lepas meeting layan amik gambar...

putik white plum dah mula keluar...

basah dan nyaman...

Musim bunga dah dekat kot. Hujan manjang ni. Hujan jepun ni rajin macam orang jepun jugak. Sekali turun, renyai2 dari pagi sampailah malam. Memang lalok je rasa kalo hari hujan... Hujan jugak menandakan musim nak bertukar. Adik-beradik bunga sakura dah berputik. Bunga sakura sikit lagi nak kluar la tu dalam dua bulan lagi...

Gong Xi Fat Chai!!!

Bising sana-sini, muntah sana sini tak tidur siang malam... Dia muntah pasal perut dia tak sedap lepas dia minum air gas dan makan yogurt epal macam tak ingat dunia... Tak sanggup lagi dah tengok adik merangkak atas carpet kotoq tu. Jadi kami pun nekad nak pi basuh kat laundry. Puan Fara pikir, alang2 nak basuh carpet baik basuh cover sofa sekali... Alang-alang mengemas, biaq sampai ke pangkal lengan.

sofa togel...

carpet dapor dicabut...

Peti ais pon aku cuci... Macam kapal karam rumah jadinya semalam. Lepas tu naik syeikh. Bukan setakat living room, tapi semua bilik aku kemas. Bilik tidur punya gerobok habih aku pindah-pindahkan baju... Kotak2 dan sampah recycle semuanyalah aku bersihkan... Sekali-sekala apa salahnya...

arrangement 1 dan anak2 black out...

Last-last jadi macam ni living room. Tempat pc ubah tepi bilik. Letih gila semua... Tidoq laaa... Esok mau pi skolah dan mula buat thesis kot... Entahlaaa...

last-last jadi camni... ada macam casa impian (casa ih-pian) tak?

dapur impian...

ih=izhal, pian=alfian (adik aku)...

From Space to Hamamatsu!!!

Recently I was previlaged to ride on a satelite. To get aboard, I had to take a rocket. These are pictures of clouds I took from the rocket...

images from the rocket...

Once I reached the satelite, everything seemed so google earth to me. These are camera images taken from the satelite of the San Francisco area. Exactly where in San Francisco, I cant say...

Everything looked exactly like google earth images...

Alamak, kantoi dari kepak kapal terbang, bukan satelite... heheh...

OK lats get back to Hamamatsu Now!!! Tadi pi beli barang2 dapor kat tempat biasa la...

Sinilah tempat pertama aku makan masa mula2 sampai Hamamatsu 2 tahun lepas... Nostalgia sikit... Lepas makan pi beli minyak tanah untuk panaskan rumah dan aku pun pi skolah... Bahan makanan kat rumah kurang dah ni...

dok bangi gak best, takde susah2 nak pi beli minyak tanah...

Big Fuji dah bukak harini, so kita sudah buat groceries... Kat tempat parking Big Fuji ada trek Bullet Train (Shinkansen) , jadi harini aku sempatle snap gambar kepala shinkansen walaupun kecil sahaja sebab dari jauh... On the way tadi Puan Fara tangkap gambar rumah biru yang dia suka sangat. Dia kata tak banyak orang cat rumah warna biru camni...

nampak tak kepala shinkansen atas kereta ke-3 dari kanan tu???

rumah favourite Puan Fara...

From space to Hamamatsu I have taken you...

Opocot!!!

Aku terkejut pada suatu hari. Terkejut teramat sangat tapi sempat pi ambil gambar2 yang mengejutkan aku... Faiq dah pandai kupas limau... Aku keluar toilet lepas mandi, sekali tengok abang tengah kupas limau diam-diam sorang-sorang je. Mula-mula dia kopek dan tabur kulit limau atas tilam...

kupas dan makan...

Lepas tu dia makan limau. Dia ni memang hantu limau... Dari zaman takde gigi sampailah ke gigi susu dia mula rongak baru2 ni, dia memang suka limau. Kalau Gong Xi Fa Chai aku rasa dialah orang paling happy...

cara betul mengumpulkan kulit limau...

Lepas makan dia pi ambil tisu. Dia kumpulkan semua kulit limau tu kemas2 atas tisu. Memang teliti dia ni. Last sekali dia ambil tisu tu dan buang dalam tong sampah... Memang dah lengkap ilmu memakan limau abang... Yang herannya Puan Fara buat dont know saja. Aku je terover excited tengok gelagat limau abang. Rupa2rupanya dia kata benda ni dah biasa abang buat. Aku je tak pernah nampak... Laaaaa... Patutlah hebat benar makan limau sorang2. Tapi kalau esok abang kopak durian, Puan Fara sure terkejut punyalah...

Do you know what your kids are up to???

Dont Worry, Be Happy!!!

dah rampas...
abang tembak, adik gelak...

Abang pulak yang dah nampak adik pegang spray terus pi kat adik dan rampas spray. Adik blank. Abang terus spray adik. Yang syoknye, adik kena spray terus terkekek-kekek gelak. Tak marah langsung... Abang tengok adik gelak lagi dia spray. Aku pulak malas nak campur, buat dont know je... Carpet lembab... Puan Fara terpaksa campur tangan...

aiseh, sudah potong kegembiraan laaa...

Kalau boleh jadi budak2 ni memang syok, spray pon boleh buat kita gembira... Dah besar2 ni kalau nak gembira kena habis duit banyak... Lagi banyak belanja lagi gembira, tapi lepas habis gembira terus termenung pasal duit sudah digunakan untuk kegembiraan...

izz farish, the wet look...

Bak kata-kata hikmat mendiang Bob Marley:
Dont worry, bee happy... :)

Syurga disebabkan anjing...

Todays Friday prayer's khtubah was quite interesting. It was given by Pak Dani an Indoesian that will compltete his PhD at the end of this semester. He told a story... About a guy who lived a long long long long long long time ago. I cant remeber exactly when. Well, this guy was a very bad bad bad bad bad person. Never had it crossed his mind to do a good deed. Never!!! Well, one day he was walking in the desert and the sun was blazing hot. He got dehydrated and was searching for water to drink. Luckily he found some. I dont know how, the details were spared by Pak Dani...

While he was drinking, a dog passed by and was also thirsty. This guy that had never done good in his life suddenly gave the dog a drink of water. Maybe it was the 1st time that he had shared something with another in his life... Shared something not with a human, but with a dog in a desert... He felt compelled to do so with no reason. That's the end of episode 1...

This is how I pictured the bad guy...

Episode 2. Years later after the bad guy had died, a very pios man had a dream. In his dream he saw the bad guy. Not in hell, but was among those waiting to go to heaven. Pak Dani gave the moral of the story... What ever you do, you must do it with your heart. It is with this act that your deed would be deemed the best of what you had done by Allah. The bad guy's act of giving water to the dog had spared him from going to hell... If you want to give charity, start of with someting small. Most of us cannot afford to give away something dear or expensive. Maybe we physically or financially can afford it, but spiritually some of us just cant. We are not sincere when donating so much. Withour sincerity our actions mean nothing... Start of small and make it a habit... Hopefully it'll grow to better things...

This is how I pictured him at the end of the story...
1st impressions always deceive...

I dont know how true this story is, but sure makes me want to give water to dogs...

The Iron Butterfly

Lately Puan Fara was complaining about her hair clip. Dah rosak teruk. Jenis sepit plastik yang macam kerang bergigi tajam tu. Gigi dia dah patah2 so kalau buat sepit cicak sure mati cicak tu...

Iron butterfly

On someones beautiful hair...

So one day we went to get her a new one. Actually two. Tapi yang ni aku punya favourite sebab aku suggest dia ambil. Butterfly besi. Design dia ada 'a mans feminine touch', pehhh...

Who is that someone???

Who else but me!!!!!

Memandangkan rambut aku pendek sikit j dari rambut Puan Fara, aku pun testlah benda ni... Works like a charm...

Later dude!!!

A picture is not worth a thousand words!!!

Personally, I dont think that a picture nowdays is worth a thousand words. Take a look at the picture below. How many words is it worth???

This picture is worth more than a million words...Why???

In digital imaging, we have a term called the 'picture element' or commonly refered to as the pixel. When you snap a photo using your digital camera, what you're actually doing is exposing an array of pixels arranged in an x-y grid to various light intensity levels from the scene you wish to capture. Each pixel then registers these intensity levels as a voltage drops in each corresponding pixel. The amount of voltage drop in each pixel corresponds directly to the brightness in the scene you wish to capture. After your digital camera makes that digitized click sound, you would have a voltage representation of the scene you just captured. Not a piture yet.

Greay Scale

If a picture is developed from these raw voltage levels, you'd get a black and white image of the scene. This is called the gray scale image. The reason is voltage levels simply dont represent color. To get a color image, RGB filters are placed on each pixel in a Bayer Pattern thus each pixel detects either red, green or blue light causing a corresponding voltage drop for that color. However if you extract only the red, blue or green pixels, you'd still get a gray scale image simply because voltage does not contain color information. You'd have to process all three R,G,B pixel voltages through a process called Bayer Interpolation to form your color picture. This works because each R,G,B pixel's voltage drop is proportional to the R,G,B color intensity from the scene. Remember the color filter I told you about??? But all of this can only be done when the picture is made into words...

Bayer Interpolated Color Image

Now for the word. To actually develop an image or store the images, your digital camera would digitize the raw pixel voltage levels into 14 or 16 bit digital data. Each string of digitized pixel data corresponds to a digital word. Now we see one pixel is worth one digital word. Thus if you have a 1.3 megapixel camera, your picture is worth 1,300,000 words... Thats how many words the picture in this blog entry is worth.

This picture is worth it!!!

Todays pictures are not worth a thousand words anymore. Literally, they're worth more. If a picture is worth merely a thousand words, the picture would be extremely dull... Get the picture???
