Learning the hard way...

Nothing much to say except that I officially know the hard way thet Big Fuji is closed on Thursdays. I should have known because it was closed the last time I went there on a Thursday. When I first arrived in Hamamatsu in 2003, it used to be openened only on Saturdays and Sundays. Then they started opening from Friday to Sunday. Maybe business was great so they opened from Thursday to Sunday. Now its back to Friday till Sunday. Learning from mistakes is the best way to learn for me...

slide pose...

What else happened, a friend called me up today telling me he's in Japan for some meeting in Oita. No idea where that is. He was the person that picked me up at he station when I first arrived here. Ajis, kalo mung bace ni, arigato-ne...

fire engine pose...

Hmmm, Puan Fara's gold fish died. We bought them a year ago. They were small than but grew almost three times in size since. Nasib baik bukan ikan kembung, kalo tak saya goreng je... Apa lagi... Gearing up for another chapter of the unknown thesis...

I know that somebody out there understands this picture...

Hope you enjoyed the pictures and thanks for reading :)

Hi there,

Googling distant names during another era sometimes bears fruit. Such as this one.

Hope you guys are doing well over there, although I know you guys are doing well over there :-)

Yours truly,
ezri.

I think I know the person too :P
Btw, curious, did U use MUPA for your family shots? It has a timer?
Or could it be that U just asked a passerby to take the pics?
Or U used normal camera with tripod for those shots?
Hmmm...

The first picture does two things.
1. It shows a happy family; adorable kids with sporting parents.
2. It shows you have long legs. Or did they slide down for the pose. Or that's exactly what you have.
Ever watched the animation series, Japanese I think, called "Daddy Long Legs"?

Now can you do me a favor and explain what the third picture shows? It is intriguing. To me it looks like a magnifying glass sitting on a whisky glass containing a plum blossom.

how come the handle of the magnifying glass was a bit bent with attached screw? isnt it supposed to be straight?

Maybe he's trying to do the 'bend the spoon' trick.

Anonymous,
Thanks, ESP ke tu???

Azli,
Yes, MUPA has a 2,5 and 10second timer. I didnt get to do any picture settings so the picture quality is not that great great... remember the MUPA DSLR shot i sent you, I used the timer (10sec) and night shot mode because I needed a steady shot and some time for the light to get into the MUPA...

Sherin,
Thank you so much. Faiq the eldest boy is 2 years and 8 month, his brother Izz Farish is 9 month old...

Agus,
I'm not doing any psychic spoon bending or anything here. Underneath the magnifying glass is a 8x magnification lense. This is a rig I used to get super macro shots from the MUPA. I will be posting the results in my fotopages. dont now when but looks like Mr. Azli the expert approved :)

Dr. Bahiyah,
I dont really know. That thing was lying around in the lab so i just used it. Maybe it could be attached to a stand or something...

Terima kasih datang ke Hamamatsu Now!!!
