Chocolates

This post is dedicated to my mother in law Puan Siti Zainab who runs her very own chocolate company, Rich Chocolates.

So Mak, I went to Jusco yesterday and saw a special glass case displaying exotic chocolates. The target market is for people celebrating Valentines day. Packing of the chocolates looked very simple but exclusive and attractive. Have a look for yourself...

The design of the chocolates themselves look good and very inviting for people not only to eat, but to buy. The color of the chocolates on display look very rich maybe because of the bakground of the boxes used. Price ranges from RM12 to RM100 depending on quantity. But I think since its seosonal, people would buy them even at these prices.

I really like the chocolates where you see smaller chocolate flakes sprinkled on top of them. They dont have this but I think if the white chocolate was to be sprinkled with bitter sweet or ordinary chocolate flakes, the contrast in color would make the chocolate stand out even more. Moreover, the taste would be marvelous, I think. I'm not sure, you're the expert. Maybe you could do some R&D on tn this area too...

This is what the box looks from the outside. Maybe for special occasions like Hari Raya, Deepavali or Chrsitmas, you could supply these your chocolates to selected department stores like whats done here in Hamamatsu...
