MALAYSIA BOLEH, this slogan has been around for a long-long-long-long-long-long-long time. It was extensively used back in the 80s when Proton launched the first model, SAGA... Man, I was at awe that time looking at the red saga on TV. I still remember how the stunt driver drove it on only two wheels... MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!
Then came the 'merundum' time for PROTON and this dark age of our motor industry is still not over yet. Dulu design SAGA memang tak aerodynamic macam model2 yang terbaru la ni, tapi reliability tinggi... To me, thats what counts... SAGA was and is still THE BEST MALAYSIAN CAR...
WASSUP WITH THIS PIECE OF CRAP??? --->>>
Today I saw an article on Berita Harian online... Adakah MALAYSIA SUDAH BOLEH lagi sekali???
Malaysia's 1st mobile phone... MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!
This must be old news to people living in Malaysia, but its brand new exciting news to me... We finally know how to make one! We dont have to or simply be less dependent on foreign nations for phones, yippie!!! Ye la, takkan semua benda nak beli??? Bihun pon kita import dari Siam tau. Tak reti buat bihun sendiri takpe, janji dah pandai buat handphone... It doesnt look like much but its cheap. Thats how it should be. Handphones are based on the microelectronic technology, which means that the core of its system are a bunch of microchips. I'll let you in on something, microchips are basicaly made from BESI KARAT and PASIR. In more exact terms, Silicon (pasir), Metal (besi) and OXIDE (besi karat). The only thing that makes it expensive is the design of the circuits or how to place the besi karat and pasir in such a way that it could be used as a mobile phone, calculator, pentium chip etc. Aside from the expensive design, the chips are made in bulk quantities, so finally they're cheap and very affordable... You want to pay a fortune for one? Not me...
(EVO ke PROTON ni joe???)
Back to handphones, how did they manage to design a camera system in the phone? Designing image sensors for mobile phones is no walk in the park. Its actually a run in the park with 9 crazy rottweilers chasing you. In the spirit of MALAYSIA BOLEH, I dont want to be sceptical of who designed the phone... For now I do believe and really want to believe it is 100% Malaysian made... Hopefully it is... Not just another government contract of relabelling 'ancient technology' from Japan...
I hope its not like PROTON all over again, 100% MALAYSIAN BULL CRAP... Mula-mula gempak teknologi transfer, lepas tu hampeh sampai la ni tak habih transfer teknologi lagi... I guess for now we could be proud of our new achievement and I really hope Malaysians will support this product as long as the BIG SHOTS that are responsible for it arent clowning around and telling us lies. I really hope they're not giving false hope in Berita Harian online to the small people like me. We are the ones who support Malaysia so listen Malaysian handphone makers listen up, dont let us down!!! However if the people in M.Mobile start to really become BOZOs in the future, we'll just have be dependent on other nations for our BESI KARAT and PASIR technology...

microchip : Besi karat dan pasir...
dulu microprocessor ada pakai ceramic, sekarang aku tak pasti. Aku dah lama tak buat electronics nih. Kena lak I suck at material/physical sciences. poles and holes bagi aku pun yang apparent adalah dalam situasi orang dah kahwin je. hee hee hee.
PCB board : cat Tembaga ngan plastik...
so kalau ikut material PCB board la lagi mahal kan?
apa kata kita mula buat component pakai hingus dan air liur lak... agaknya lagi mahal kot.
Tapi aku rasa kalau orang-orang m.mobile baca blog ko ni mesti dia cakap "weh, komen banyak sangat- buat la sendiri!". Sudah. satu kerja lak nak kena gi korek pasir ngan besi karat. Kalau berhenti kerja and buat kerja tu, ada dua posibility: sama ada berjaya buat technology besi karat and pasir, or makan pasir ngan besi karat le kita. hee hee hee.
bagus idea ko tu shahril... boleh buat BIOCHIP pakai hingus ngan lendir2 badan...
that piece of crap is incredible...nanti i post pic kete bikin savvy i
